I chose to try the Pinterest, since I did start an account a while back. Plus, the Bitly app didn't have the greatest reviews.
Okay, I think this is where Evernote might fit in. Over the years, I've had and continue to have a mass and a mess of bookmarks. What I like, so far, about Evernote is that you can add notes with the link and it's searchable (and shareable, but I don't really do that.) I think most bookmark systems are searchable now. The other issue is having time to go back and visit/apply all those great sites you've bookmarked. I know I've heard this comment about Pinterest. I'm glad to learn that you can add websites to Pinterest versus just pinning within Pinterest. Although it's clear there's enough there to spend hour upon hour looking for interests for pinning. Perhaps even better considering someone or "someones" have already deemed it worth pinning. What I still like about Evernote is that it is just running in the background and you can add to it from any browser. I'll probably end up using a bit of both, but I kind of believe in keeping it simple with one organizational tool for each category...these may serve different enough purposes to keep them both going.

That's an interesting comparison between Evernote and Pinterest. I'm a big user of Pinterest, organizing things into different categories and following folks who have similar interests. It's proven a useful tool for me in planning new spaces in my apartment or family weddings, etc. It certainly cleared up all those bookmarks I was saving. I've not yet done the pinning of entire websites for as a more resource like tool but that would be an interesting avenue to explore!
