23 Mobile Things-Thing 2 Mobile Device Tips

In the first basic video, I learned that you can swipe anywhere on the screen to start. I was also reminded of photo Burst mode. I hope I remember to use this and can choose a picture with all eyes open...if we're lucky. I played around with settings to extend battery life. The next thing I looked at encouraged dynamic screens...just what the battery saver tips told me to turn off. Oh, well. I liked the tip that you can see the times of texts by dragging to the side. And love to correct people...you can tell Siri how to pronounce words and names correctly. I like the new unlimited folder set up in iOS 7. I disabled, background app refresh to save battery life and data, but if it means that I have to wait a long time when opening apps, I might change it back. Same thing with push notifications in certain apps. And last but not least...oh to admit my eyes aren't as focused as they used to be...I'm trying the Accessibility feature of bold text. It will be interesting to see where it shows up and if I really like it. Okay, so far I can hardly tell the difference. I've actually been trying to learn more about iOS 7 for the iPads we have at school, so most of this was a good refresher. There are so many settings... I hope I remember them all when we set up masters.

Siri is always fun to play around with. I know there are some crazy questions you can ask it where she'll give you logical answers. The battery life tips are always essential too for any mobile device!
