23 Mobile Things-Thing 3 Utilities

I use Gmail, Google calendar, and Google Drive quite regularly. It was fun to explore some of the other apps. Some of the deal apps and that kind of thing don't really apply to those living in super small towns. I might use them if I was going shopping in Rochester or in the Twin Cities area. I do have a different scanner on my iPad and iPhone. It's not connected to any deals. But I have used it in stores to bring a product descriptions. When it comes to shopping, I really like using the app AnyList to keep track of the things that I need to buy and be able to cross them off my list and have them disappear from my display when I have purchased them. It's also set up to be able to share those lists with other people in a family or with roommates who are going shopping as well. We had an opportunity to get a Fitbit at school for just $10 as part of a health promotion. I've been using that app to track steps, activity, food, water, and sleep patterns.
During this weather I've also use the Weather Channel and 511mn.org apps.
Finally, I added the Chrome browser on my iPad. I enjoy using it on my laptop, so I think it could be a good addition. I'm also interested in exploring chrome extensions and apps.

Ahhh 511...unfortunately I think that app is being used more than anyone would like at the moment =) I haven't tried AnyList yet but it sounds like a good one to check out as I love crossing things off a list. I looked into the RedLaser scanning app which I think might work well here in Rochester, but being from a small town originally I can see the drawbacks to it there. Looking forward to reading your Thing 4!
