I thought I'd try Road Ninja. It's still trying to load something...anything. Granted I'm not on the road, but I still think it should get me something. The reviews weren't the greatest, but some really liked it. I'm wondering if this is another app more suited to urban areas.
I have played with Spotify. I haven't used it a lot, since lately I've been more into podcasts using Stitcher. But I think I will try setting up more playlists...I do love music and having it tailored to my preferences is interesting. I first got Spotify to go with the theme for our book club. The book notes actually suggested a playlist. I found some playlists for children, but without the option of on demand choice...it would have limited value in a lesson unless you were just looking for something to have on in the background.
I thought my mom and I could have fun with the Sibley eGuide to Birds of North America. She is always wondering about or identifying bird songs and calls. We've also played around with larkwire.
