Well, there sure are several usable looking choices out there. As with many things... I think a person is most likely to choose one and stick with it as long as it serves its purpose. So which one to choose... time to experiment.
Screen-cast-o-matic made my browser freeze several times when I tried to use it, so I moved on. Okay, now I have had a similar problem with ScreenToaster. Maybe it's my computer??? I've spent a lot of time trying to get things to work and finally switched computers.
I was finally able to complete a simple screencast with Jing... after I figured out my microphone and sound issues.
So here it is...
Even though with my computer problems... this took an inordinate amount of time... I think it's cool, and I would use it to do a quick tutorial for the school website. We are getting new circulation software, and we have under utilized databases. I also thing there could be some personal applications as well.
