So, here is the truth of it... this is one of the main reasons that I wanted to get a new and faster service provider. I've slogged through Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog with my old provider... now I've enjoyed a seamless Daily Show and caught Conan's first night after missing it. I do think this will influence my television watching patterns. During summer reruns... I might be more likely to choose my own reruns, like Pushing Daisies. I don't plan on changing my cable plan at this time, but I will have access to some shows that weren't on the plan. There is also the on demand quality. I am wondering if these online services will continue to be free or if cable and television will find a way to tap into it... or if providers on the internet will also tap into earning potential.
For now, I'm looking forward to this opportunity for a selection of on demand entertainment... and actually with a laptop it's even more portable within my home.
