Thing 32 Google Maps and Mashups

I started by looking at several of the maps from the two 100 lists. Then I played with the Gmaps Pedometer, routing a few walking trips. It was cool to look at these actual distances, elevation, and calories burned features.
My Map is a work in progress. I need to upload some pictures, so I can have a http address for them. Here is the link... http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=105553813567840396567.0004648f2365db159cd18&z=15.
I could see students planning a trip and researching locals along the way and including them in placemarks with additional information, pictures, weblinks, and interesting facts or history.
