I started with the Educational Podcast Network. I listened to a couple of very middle school entries that weren't that interesting to me, but gave me an idea of how students might be able to use the podcast format as a culmination of a project.
As I tried to look a little further on the Educational Podcast Network, I didn't have much luck listening. I'm not sure if it was my connection or a problem with the website.
I also listened to one of the St. Cloud State podcasts which was an interview with a school/public librarian. It was interesting and one might be able to get some ideas for your library.
I've listened to MPR pieces that I partially heard on the radio or ones that I have received links for. I enjoy MPR so these are awesome. I can see that some of the shows or particular pieces could be used in an educational setting, but a person may have to be pretty vigilant to find the right piece for the right occasion.
I had the best luck with Podcast.com. I found Teacherpodcast.org through Podcast.com. Staff Development and information for teachers via a podcast. This sounded like something that would help teachers keep up-to-date on technology in education. I think I'll subscribe to this one.
I've been listening to my favorite podcast, Satellite Sisters, for about a year now. I don't think I'm ready to create my own podcast... but I might keep it in mind for a product of student work.
