I had suscribed to WebJunction Minnesota on my Google Reader account, but I had never been a member of a social networking community. I guess I am now a member of 23 Things on a Stick Ning.
As I looked at these, the Ning that held the most appeal for me is the TeacherLibrarianNing because the first 16 years of my career I was a classroom teacher. I am glad that I have come into the Library Media position with the perspective of a teacher. I am a teacher at heart and hope that most Library Media Specialists would feel the same. I am also in charge of three libraries an elementary, middle, and HS. There are groups for all of these on this Ning. I plan to spend time seeing what I can gain (and contribute) to this community.
